Easy #AtHome Pastries: Flan

Flan : A dessert of sweetened egg custard with a delicious caramel topping!

INGREDIENTS:

-6 Eggs

-1 can of Condensed Milk - Lechera

-1 can of Evaporated Milk - Carnation

-1 Philadelphia Cream Cheese Bar

-1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract

UTENSILS:

- Wooden spoon

- Flanera (Flan Maker)

- Wooden plank

- Blender

- Oven mitts / cloth

- Pot express

RECIPE:

Step 1: Pour 2 cups of sugar into your flanera flan maker and mix it up with a wooden spoon until you get a brown- sticky mixture (the caramel!!). It is important to mix it nonstop at a low flame.

Step 2: Make sure to evenly spread the caramel across all the edges of the bowl as well as the base. Grab a wooden plank and place the flanera above it until the caramel hardens.

Step 3: Meanwhile, grab your blender and pour 6 eggs, one can of condensed milk, one can of evaporated milk, one Philadelphia cream cheese bar and a full teaspoon of sugar. Mix it up until the ingredients are blended entirely.

Step 4: Once the caramel in the bowl is cold, pour the blended mixture into the flanera.

Step 5: Now grab a big pot express and prepare a water bath (Baño María) and place the flanera inside the pot.

Step 6: Wait 1 hour, then remove the flanera, let it rest until it is cold and place it upside down over a plate.


Now you can enjoy a delicious dessert with your entire family!
